Animal felting | Saturday 14 March | Saturday 9 May

by Hanna Hermans

  • Saturday 14 March (fully booked)
  • Saturday 9 May (fully booked)

In this workshop we are going to make a woolly animal of your choice with needle felting.
Layer by layer you shape the animal in a base color, after which you will add more and more details to shape it into a realistic and/or characterful animal. Nice as a (hanging) ornament, as a gift or just as a nice (first) exercise in moling with wool. It is recommended to already have the animal in mind you want to make and have a sample photo. For example, your pet, wish animal or even a mythical creature!

Your first pair of socks | Saturday 21 March, 28 March and 4 April (fully booked)

by Anke Grevers

In three Saturday mornings you will learn to knit socks from edge to toe, in 1 colour with the beautiful Fjære sock yarn.
It covers setting up on four needles, round knitting, Dutch heel, chaming off the toe and closing the toe with the Kitchener stitch.
Participation in this workshop is only possible if you can already set up and knit straight and wrong.
At home you continue to knit your sock and maybe you will manage to knit the second one right away so that you can wear the first pair of your own knitted socks after three weeks.

Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Costs: € 75,- for 3 lessons, payable in cash at the beginning of the first lesson.
Reservation of sock wool: € 15,- for the skein of Norwegian Fjære sock yarn.

Registration: reservations for this course are no longer possible, it is fully booked. For the paricipants, their selected yarns will be ready for you at the first lesson.
You can bring a set of 5 sock needles, size 2.5 mm, to the course or you can buy it on site in the store.
