Sokker No. 3 (Socks)

The socks are knitted in the round from the top down in a stockinette stitch pattern. First, a double ribbed cuff is worked, followed by the two-colored pattern on the leg, which is knitted according to a chart. When the leg is finished, the heel is shaped in the main color. The sock is completed by knitting the foot in the two-colored pattern, and the toe in the main color with decreases.

Socks No. 3 are knitted using Fjære sock yarn. The socks are shown in two color combinations; color information can be found under yarn requirements.

Yarn usage

Yarn: For the socks, 2 colours are used.
– 1st thread (main colour): Fjære sock yarn in colour 553 dusty blue (Alt. 2: 557 light green), Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (375 m pdr 100g).
– 2nd thread (contrast colour): Fjære sock yarn in colour 100 natural white (Alt. 2: 568 copper red)Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (375 m pdr 100g).
Amount: The yarn amount for the 2 colours are as follows:
– 1st thread (main colour): 50 (50) 50 (100) 100 (100)g.
– 2nd thread (contract colour): 50g in all sizes.​
