Sokker No. 4 (Socks)

The socks are knitted in the round from the top down in a stockinette stitch pattern. First, a double ribbed cuff is worked, followed by the two-colored pattern on the leg, which is knitted according to a chart. When the leg is finished, the heel is shaped in the main color. The sock is completed by knitting the foot in the two-colored pattern, and the toe in the main color with decreases.

Socks No. 4 are knitted using Fjære sock yarn. The socks are shown in two color combinations; color information can be found under yarn requirements.

Foot length: 12-12,7 (13,3-14) 14,7-15,3 (16-16,7) 17,3-18 (18,7-19,3) 20-20,7 (21,3-22) cm.
The length of the leg: 9 (9) 10 (10) 11 (11) 12 (12) cm.​

Yarn usage

Yarn: For the socks, 2 colours are used.
– 1st thread (main colour): Fjære sock yarn, in colour 562 light purple, Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (375 m per 100g).
– 2nd thread (contrast colour): Fjære sock yarn, in colour 567 reddish orange, Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (375 m per 100g).

Amount: The yarn amount for the 2 colours are as follows:
– 1st thread (main colour): 50g in all sizes.
– 2nd thread (contract colour): 25g in all sizes.
