Sweater with a pattern inspired by Sámi bridal mittens. The sweater was designed for the TV series Heajastallan/Bryllupsfesten (NRK), and is worn by the character Ailo.

The sweater is knitted in Varde Pelsullgarn held together with Silk Mohair. This combination creates a soft and luxurious look, while making the garment airy, warm, lightweight and durable.

The sweater is knitted in the round from the top down, with raglan and ribbed edges in twisted knit. Raglan sleeves and wide ribbed cuffs provide a good fit. The sweater is designed to be roomy, with space for a shirt or a thin sweater underneath.

Designed by Hege Borge for the NRK series Heajastallan/Bryllupsfesten. Pattern developed in collaboration with Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.

The sweater is designed to have a slightly oversized fit. Size M/L may fit sizes 36/38 through 42, depending on how loose or close-fitting you prefer the sweater to be. Check the measurements before deciding which size to knit.

The sweater shown in the picture is knitted in size M/L. The male model normally wears size S/M and is 170 cm tall. The female model has a bust circumference of approximately 95 cm and normally wears size S/M.

Yarn: The sweater is knitted in Varde Pelsullgarn (100 g = 200 m) held together with one strand of Silk Mohair (100 g = 212 m).
