Elegant cardigan fastened with a bow at the neckline, perfect for both special occasions and everyday wear.
The cardigan is knitted back and forth from the top down in stockinette stitch, with wide ribbed edges. Stitches are picked up along the front edges of the cardigan and used to knit a double-knit rib edging. Increases and then decreases are worked along the sleeves to create a puffed shape. A ribbed casing is knitted along the neckline, through which a ribbon is threaded at the end. The ribbon can either be knitted in mohair or purchased as a wide silk ribbon.

The circumference of the cardigan: 110 (120) 130 (140) 150 (160) 170 (180) cm.
Full length, from shoulder edge to bottom edge: 52 (54) 56 (58) 60 (62) 64 (66) cm.
Positive ease: This cardigan has a positive ease at approximately 30 cm, depending on your bust circumference. When deciding which size to knit, choose the one which corresponds to your own actual bust circumference.
You can knit this cardigan with single strand Luna and one strand Silk Mohair.
Yarn usage
NOTE: At Trollenwol, for the below mentioned Mohair you can order "Silky Kid Mohair" or "Mohair by Canard" in our store.
Yarn: The cardigan is knitted in Luna, while the bow ribbon is knitted in Silk Mohair:
– 1st thread: Luna, 420 ecru, Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (200 m p r 100 g).
– 2n thread: Silk mohair, (212 m pr 25 g).
Amount: The following yarn quantities are used:
– Cardigan: 500 (550) 600 (650) 700 (750) 800 (850) g.
– Bow ribbon (if knitted): 50 g.
Yarn alternative: Vidde lamullgarn (100g = 200m) or Varde pelsullgarn (100g = 200m)
You can also knit the cardigan with one strand Vilje and one strand Silk Mohair.
Yarn: knitted with two strands held together:
– 1st thread: Vilje, 406 red, Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (375 m pr 100 g).
– 2nd thread: Silk mohair, (212 m pr 25 g).
Amount: The following yarn quantities are used:
– 1st thread: 250 (300) 350 (400) 450 (500) 550 (600) g.
– 2nd thread: 150 (175) 175 (225) 250 (250) 275 (300) g
Yarn alternative: Sølje pelsullgarn (100g = 350 m) as an alternative to Vilje.
