Registration for: Course "Knitting Traditional 'Grolsche' Mittens" by Anke Grevers
Over three Saturday mornings you will learn to knit traditional Grolsche mittens in 2 colours using beautiful Norwegian Ask yarn.
PLEASE NOTE: the €30 covers only the registration fee and yarn. Read on for more information.
We will be using the traditional colours: a navy blue, a bright white, and a touch of red. Participation in this course is only possible if you can already knit in the round using double-pointed needles.
In between sessions, you will continue working on the mittens at home, and perhaps you will manage to knit the second mitten right away, so that after three lessons you can wear your first pair of self-knitted Grolsche mittens. Ready in time for winter!
Coffee, tea, and treats will be provided during this course.
Bring your own: double-pointed needles. These can also be purchased on-site if desired.
Cost breakdown:
Tuition fee: €75 for 3 lessons, to be paid in cash at the start of the first lesson.
Wool costs: €25 for two skeins of Norwegian Ask; we will roll these into balls and set them aside for you.
Registration fee: including coffee, tea & treats: €5
By booking your place in the webshop, you've paid the registration fee and the yarn. (together €30)
