This natural, undyed wool comes from sheep in northern Germany, is clean, free of harmful substances, and carded in a thick roving.
With 35 mitron, the wool is medium soft.
Applications:
- The long hairs make this wool suitable for beginners to spin and/or dye with.
- This wool wool is also very suitable for rolling doll heads, filling dolls' limbs, cuddly toys and crocheted or knitted animals.
- You can also use this wool for dry/pricking felting of a somewhat larger basic shape as an "underlayer".
- Wet felting is ideal with this wool.
- To make the woollen 'thrums' in the wool mitten pattern by Debi Wilbur (available on Ravelry), a quantity of 100 grams is sufficient for two pairs of mittens.
