Knitting Patterns Dollclothes

All patterns are written and suitable for dolls of about 30 cm/12 inch tall. Knitted from top to bottom using sock needles or circular needles with a short cable.
If desired, you can also use the Magic Loop method.
Lengthening the sleeves, legs or, for example, the skirt is easy: just knit a few more rows.
Use a Fingering Weight yarn (approx. 400 m/100 g) and choose needles that give you the right knitting gauge.
Yarn tips: Spindrift from Jamieson's of Shetland is available in many colours and particularly suitable for doll clothes. Available in balls of 25 grams, which is enough for one dress with raglan sleeves or dungarees. Or several small pieces of clothing.
Other suitable yarn is for example the Tunt from Ullcentrum, available in balls of 50 grams. Suitable wooden buttons with a diameter of 8 mm are available separately in our webshop.
Is the doll bigger? For a doll of 35 to 40 cm tall, use a Double Knit weight yarn (approx. 300 m/100 g) and choose thicker needles (e.g. 4 mm) Yarn tip: The Double Knit from Jamieson's is particularly suitable and available in a balls of 25 grams. Suitable wooden buttons with a diameter of 11 mm are available separately in our webshop
Is the doll smaller? For a 25 cm doll, use a Fine Fingering Weight yarn (approx. 500 m/100 g) and of course also choose thinner needles.
Yarn tip: The super soft baby alpaca from BC garn is available in skeins of 50 grams in the natural Alpaca colors. Suitable porcelain buttons of 7 mm diameter are available separately in our webshop.
