Huldra Worsted Yarn
Huldra is a thin, light and soft worsted yarn that is very similar to thin merino yarns. It is spun from a type of wool called Montevideo wool – a collective name for wool from mixed-breeds from Uruguay. This sheepbreed is related to the merino breed and has the same uses. It is soft enough for baby clothes and perfect for thin garments. It is soft and comfortable on the skin, for both young and old. Huldra worsted yarn is very suitable for knitting machines, hand knitting and embroidery. The yarn can be combined very well with another strand of thin yarn, for example mohair or silk-mohair, for light and exclusive garments.
Washing instructions: it is recommended to wash the garments by hand with mild wool soap and let them dry flat.

Yardage: appr. 425 m per 100 g. (Nm 8.5/2)
Recommended needle size: 2.5 mm – 3 mm.
Gauge: 32 stitches = 10 cm with 2.5 mm or 30 stitches = 10 cm with 3 mm.
