Hjelholts Sokkegarn
The sock yarn from Hjelholt's is extra strong spun. As a result, it is more durable than other spun wool and lasts longer. It is a slightly thicker yarn: particularly suitable for the cold months or cold houses, and of course if you suffer from cold feet!
This sock yarn is spun from 100% natural gray wool from Danish Gotland Pelsuld sheep. A skein of 150 grams contains enough yarn for a pair of socks up to size 45-47. The running length is about 225 m/100 grams, and the skeins weigh 150 grams.
Knitting tension: 22 stitches and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 3 mm needles.
Nylon/polyester-free and Non-superwash: socks knitted from this yarn can be washed in the washing machine on the wool wash program.
