Sokker No. 5 (Socks)

The socks are knitted in the round from the top down in a stockinette stitch pattern. First, a double ribbed cuff is worked, followed by the two-colored pattern on the leg, which is knitted according to a chart. When the leg is finished, the heel is shaped in the main color. The sock is completed by knitting the foot in the two-colored pattern, and the toe in the main color with decreases.

Socks No. 5 are knitted using Fjære sock yarn. The socks are shown in two color combinations; color information can be found under yarn requirements.

Yarn usage

Yarn: For the socks, 2 colours are used.
– 1st thread (main colour): Fjære sock yarn, in colour 100 natural white (Alt. 2: 561 dark powder pink), Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (375 m per 100g).
– 2nd thread (contrast colour): Fjære sock yarn, in colour 565 caramel (Alt. 2: 560 powder pink), Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (375 m per 100g).

Amount: The yarn amount for the 2 colours are as follows:
– 1st thread (main colour): 50g in all sizes.
– 2nd thread (contrast colour): 50g in all sizes.
