Roving
With wool roving, all wool fibers are carded in the same direction, so they form a thick roving together, hence the name.
Roving is particularly suitable for wet felting, where you alternately place strands of wool horizontally and vertically on top of each other. With cold and hot water, soap and by rubbing/friction, these wool fibers felt.
Our natural/undyed roving comes from northern Germany and is also suitable for doll making.
Our coloured roving is mulesing free merino wool from South America, carded in the Czech Republic, and with 21 microns it's very soft and pleasant to felt with (with children).
