Efterår No 11

Efterår No 11 is knitted in the round from the bottom up in a textured pattern featuring smocking and cables. The sleeves are picked up and knitted from the shoulders down. The sweater has wide edges knitted in double ribbing. The pattern is knitted according to a chart throughout the entire sweater.

This pattern is unisex and shows how the sweater can be knitted with either a feminine or masculine expression. Please note that the lengths and yarn quantities vary between the two versions, while the actual sizing is the same for both and should be chosen according to your bust/chest circumference.

Size Guide

Size: a (b) c (d) e (f) g (h).

Your bust circumference: 80 (90) 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 (150) cm.

The circumference of the sweater: 110 (120) 130 (140) 150 (160) 170 (180) cm.

Positive ease: This sweater has a positive ease at approximately 30 cm, depending on your bust circumference. When deciding which size to knit, choose the one which corresponds to your own actual bust circumference.

Full length, measured from shoulder to edge: The length of the sweater varies, depending on which of the 2 versions you’ve chosen to knit:
– Feminine version: 52 (54) 56 (58) 60 (62) 64 (66) cm.
– Maskuline version: 66 (67) 68 (69) 70 (71) 72 (73) cm.

Yarn usage

NOTE: At Trollenwol, for the below mentioned Mohair you can order "Silky Kid Mohair" or "Mohair by Canard" in our store.

Yarn: The sweater is knitted with 2 threads held together:
– 1st thread: Luna lambswool, unbleached white 400 (or olive brown 464), Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (200 m per 100g).
– 2nd thread: Silk Mohair, No. E0 (or No. 68), Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (212 m per 25g).

Amount: The yarn amount varies, depending on which of the 2 versions you’ven chosen to knit:
– Feminine version – 1st thread: 500 (550) 600 (650) 700 (750) 800 (850) g
– Feminine version – 2nd thread: 125 (150) 150 (175) 175 (200) 200 (225) g

– Maskuline version – 1st thread: 550 (600) 650 (700) 750 (800) 850 (900) g
– Maskuline version – 2nd thread: 150 (150) 175 (175) 200 (200) 225 (225) g

Yarn alternative: Vidde lamullgarn (100g = 200m) or Varde pelsullgarn (100g = 200m) as an alternate for Luna.

Other: 6 mm cable needle, and elastic thread for the neckline (to secure the right shape of the neckline, it is important to use the elastic thread).
