Workshop Collage Quilting: Hendrik the Rooster
This beautiful rooster is made with the technique Collage Quilting. This is done with many different small pieces of fabric in the colours you want to give your rooster. For this you can very well use all kinds of leftover fabric brought from home. (During the workshop, bags with leftovers fabric per colour are for sale).
In this particular collage technique, the object is slowly built up from small pieces of fabric on a separate surface before being ironed and sewn onto the fabric. For this we use an easy-to-process double-sided adhesive interfacing. You can make this stately Henry, but you will also get access to patterns of other multicoloured beautiful roosters. The purchase of the pattern costs € 10.95. This amount is not included in the workshop.
If you don't like roosters, but would like to learn this technique, there is also a free beginner's pattern of a beautiful mushroom.
During this one-day workshop, you will make a large part of your collage and go home with enough knowledge to finish it. The final quilt measures about 45 x 50 cm.
Level: Beginners with a bit of guts and everyone else.
A sewing machine is not needed during the workshop day.
During the workshop there will be coffee and tea available, and cake & cookies will also be provided. You can pass on any dietary requirements to Wilma.

Course costs: €67.50 (this is excluding the €5 registration fee and excluding the materials) The course costs of €67.50 are to be paid to Wilma, you will receive an email from her with information after registration.
Bring your own lunch, and the fabrics/materials as indicated on the list of supplies that you will receive after registration.

Cancellation policy workshops & courses:
- The reservation of the workshop/course is only final after payment in the webshop.
- You can cancel free of charge up to four weeks in advance and you will receive a full refund.
- Up to two weeks in advance, you will receive 50% of the amount back.
- From two weeks before the workshop/course date, the full costs will be charged.
- If you can nominate someone in time to replace you, then that is of course completely fine.
- Sometimes there is someone on the waiting list: please contact the person who provides the workshop or course in time.
- In the unlikely event that the workshop/course cannot take place, you will receive a full refund of the course amount.

- Are you on a diet or do you have an allergy? Please let us know so that we can take this into account.
- All workshops are intended for adults, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Is the course or workshop you want to participate in fully booked? Send an email to the relevant teacher to be placed on the reserve list, or to receive a message as soon as new dates are scheduled.
- In principle, all workshops are given in the Dutch language. Please contact the teacher in question if you do not yet have a sufficient knowledge of the Dutch language. Discuss with him/her whether participating is usefull and/or what the possibilities are. In most cases, occasional translation into English is not a problem for the teacher.
