Registration for: Course "Knitting a little Friend" by Anke
Overview
In four meetings (Friday mornings 12 Mar, 2 Apr, 16 Apr, 30 Apr 2027) you will be guided in knitting your own little friendL: you choose yourself which one you would like to knit.
We use the Spindrift from Jamieson's of Shetland or this course. This yarn is available at Trollenwol in 225 colors, is of perfect quality and an excellent choice for the projects featured in Cynthia Vallet's books.
The following are discussed:
- Reading an English Pattern
- Reading a chart
- We will help you with all the techniques that appear in the patterns.
- Such as: cables, openwork, increases, decreases, shortened rows, picking up stitches, etc.
Important: you use your own copy of "Mouche and Friends" or "Chez Myrtil" by Chythia Vallet or you order/buy this book at Trollenwol. (making and/or using copies is not allowed during the course due to copyright)
Participation in this course is possible if you know how to knit in the round with DPNS or circulars. You choose the character you want to knit from one of the two books.
In between lessons, you continue to knit your little friend at home, so that you can make the most of the opportunity to ask questions and get help during the lessons.
Coffee, tea and sweets will be provided during this course.
Bring your own: DPNS or circular needles. These can also be purchased at Trollenwol during the first lesson.

Time: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm
Cost structure:
Tuition fee: €100,- for 4 lessons.
Cost of yarn: depends on the friend you want to knit. €5.25 per ball of 25 grams. To be purchased at Trollenwol during the lessons.
Registration fee: €10,00
When booking your place you pay the total cost of €110 (tuition fee and registration)
Cancellation policy workshops & courses:
- The reservation of the workshop/course is only final after payment in the webshop.
- You can cancel free of charge up to four weeks in advance and you will receive a full refund.
- Up to two weeks in advance, you will receive 50% of the amount back.
- From two weeks before the workshop/course date, the full costs will be charged.
- If you can nominate someone in time to replace you, then that is of course completely fine.
- Sometimes there is someone on the waiting list: please contact the person who provides the workshop or course in time.
- In the unlikely event that the workshop/course cannot take place, you will receive a full refund of the course amount.
Also good to know:
- Are you on a diet or do you have an allergy? Please let us know so that we can take this into account.
- All workshops are intended for adults, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Is the course or workshop you want to participate in fully booked? Send an email to the relevant teacher to be placed on the reserve list, or to receive a message as soon as new dates are scheduled.
- In principle, all workshops are given in the Dutch language. Please contact the teacher in question if you do not yet have a sufficient knowledge of the Dutch language. Discuss with him/her whether participating is usefull and/or what the possibilities are. In most cases, occasional translation into English is not a problem for the teacher.
- Participating in a course/workshop at Trollenwol is always at your own risk. Trollenwol and/or the teachers are not and cannot be held liable for any injury or accidents.
