Registration for: Course "Lace - Knitting a Scarf" by Anke
In three meetings (Saturday mornings 13 Mar, 3 April, 17 April 2027) you will learn to knit a lace mini scarf, with the beautiful Norwegian yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvare Fabrikk.
The design is by Augustins for Hillesvåg (Tilbehør no 11)
The following are discussed:
- Reading an English Pattern
- Lace knitting
- Increasing stitches
You can choose between 3 sizes:
Small: 1 skeins of Luna, Vidde or Varde
Medium: 4 skeins of Luna, Vidde or Varde
Large: 6 skeins of Luna, Vidde or Varde
You select these skein(s) PRIOR to the course in our brick & mortar store, or order them in our webshop. Then choose "pick up from retailer" at checkout and put "lace course" in the comments field. We will then make sure that these are turned into a ball and are ready for you at the first lesson.

This course is suitable for beginners!
You can participate if you master the basics. (cast on, cast off, knit and purl)
In between the lessons, you continue to knit your scarf at home.
Coffee, tea and sweets will be provided during this course.
Bring your own: circular needle or possibly straight needles with button. These can also be purchased at Trollenwol during the first lesson.

Time: 10.00 am - 1.00 pm
Cost structure:
Tuition fee: €75,- for 3 lessons.
Yarn costs: depends on the size you want to knit. € 15 per skein of Luna, Vidde or Varde, to be selected and purchased prior to the course. (see also text above)
Registration fee and pattern: €12,50
When booking, you pay the total cost of €87,50 for the course. (exclusive the yarn)
Cancellation policy workshops & courses:
- The reservation of the workshop/course is only final after payment in the webshop.
- You can cancel free of charge up to four weeks in advance and you will receive a full refund.
- Up to two weeks in advance, you will receive 50% of the amount back.
- From two weeks before the workshop/course date, the full costs will be charged.
- If you can nominate someone in time to replace you, then that is of course completely fine.
- Sometimes there is someone on the waiting list: please contact the person who provides the workshop or course in time.
- In the unlikely event that the workshop/course cannot take place, you will receive a full refund of the course amount.
Also good to know:
- Are you on a diet or do you have an allergy? Please let us know so that we can take this into account.
- All workshops are intended for adults, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Is the course or workshop you want to participate in fully booked? Send an email to the relevant teacher to be placed on the reserve list, or to receive a message as soon as new dates are scheduled.
- In principle, all workshops are given in the Dutch language. Please contact the teacher in question if you do not yet have a sufficient knowledge of the Dutch language. Discuss with him/her whether participating is usefull and/or what the possibilities are. In most cases, occasional translation into English is not a problem for the teacher.
- Participating in a course/workshop at Trollenwol is always at your own risk. Trollenwol and/or the teachers are not and cannot be held liable for any injury or accidents.
