Basis No 6

Basis No 6 is a textured sweater featuring a beautiful honeycomb pattern. The sweater has side slits and a relaxed fit.

This sweater is knitted from the bottom up – back and forth while shaping the side slits and yoke, and in the round when knitting the body and sleeves. The entire sweater is knitted in a honeycomb cable pattern, and I-cord edges are worked along the neckline, sleeves and body at the end.

Size Guide

Size: a (b) c (d) e (f) g (h).

Your bust circumference: 80 (90) 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 (150) cm.

The circumference of the sweater: 110 (120) 130 (140) 150 (160) 170 (180) cm.

Full length, from shoulder edge to bottom edge: 68 (69) 70 (71) 72 (73) 74 (75) cm.

Positive ease: This sweater has a positive ease at approximately 30 cm, depending on your bust circumference. When deciding which size to knit, choose the one which corresponds to your own actual bust circumference.

Yarn usage

NOTE: At Trollenwol, for the below mentioned Mohair you can order "Silky Kid Mohair" or "Mohair by Canard" in our store.

Yarn: The sweater is knitted with 2 threads held together.
– 1st thread: Luna lambswool, 449 heathered light beige, Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (200 m per 100 g).
– 2nd thread: Silk Mohair, (212 m per 25 g).
Amount: The following amount is used for each of the 2 yarn bases.
– 1st thread: 650 (700) 750 (800) 850 (900) 950 (1000) g.
– 2nd thread: 175 (175) 200 (200) 200 (225) 225 (250) g.

Alternative yarn: Vidde lamullgarn (100g = 200m) or Varde pelsullgarn (100g = 200m) can be used as an alternative for Luna. You can also knit the sweater with a single strand of Blåne or Troll.
